Fine One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Elaborate Freehand Cobalt Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated top-to-bottom with two bands of freehand vining between straight and wavy stripes. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 10".
