Glazed Redware Boot Novelty, attributed to George Wagner, Weissport, Carbon County, PA, circa 1895, molded sculpture of a high-heeled boot with incised heart motif, the lead-glazed surface decorated with splashes of copper and manganese over a yellow ground. Underside with old sticker, reading "Wagner / Penn. pottery / 60-75 yrs old / $7.50." Excellent condition with minor wear. H 4".
