Copper-Glazed Redware Figure of a Dog, PA origin, circa 1850-1880, hand-modeled figure of a dog holding a basket in its mouth, standing atop an oval base. Incised details to dog and impressed details to basket and base. Surface covered in a lead-and-copper glaze, unusual for figures of this type. Loss to tail. Reglued breaks to legs. Old reddish-brown paint touch up to damage. H 3 1/2" ; L 3 5/8".
