Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to William Linton, Baltimore, MD, circa 1855, cylindrical jar with squared rim and applied lug handles, decorated on the front, reverse, and sides, with a very large brushed design of a flowering plant bearing fan-shaped flowers. A 2 1/4" flake to rim. Otherwise excellent condition.
