Fine Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1845, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated completely around the body with a sweeping fan-shaped floral motif. A 1 1/8" rim chip beside a relatively minor 5/8" rim flake. H 8 5/8".
