Rare Graduated Group of Five Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Chicken Waterers, probably NJ origin, circa 1885, each of domed form with hooded watering trough and knob-shaped finial, decorated with cobalt around the trough's juncture with the waterer as well as cobalt around the knob. Ranging from roughly pint-sized to two-and-a-half-gallons. Larger waterers impressed with one-gallon, two-gallon, and two-and-a-half-gallon capacity marks. Significant cracks to two-gallon example. All in otherwise good to excellent condition, some having chips. H (of smallest) 5 1/2" ; H (of largest) 13".
