Two Cobalt-Banded Stoneware Mugs, Northeastern U.S., mid to late 19th century, one of tapered form and another of cylindrical form both with brushed cobalt bands. Both in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Taller mug with long, tight fork-shaped crack from rim. Smaller mug in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of smaller mug) 3 7/8".
