Small-Sized Stoneware Jug with Impressed Floral Decoration, attributed to Jonathan Fenton, Boston, MA, late 18th century, ovoid jug with footed base, heavily-tooled spout, and semi-squared mouth, featuring an impressed and cobalt-highlighted design of a flower with detailed blossom and leaves. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. In-the-firing crazing to much of surface. A small chip to underside at edge. Molasses residue to spout. H 10".
