Very Rare Glazed Redware Mug, Stamped "E PARKER / GREENWOOD / COL C / PA / 1879," Greenwood Township, Columbia County, PA origin, 1879, flared form with footed base and semi-squared rim molding, the surface covered in a heavy lead glaze, possibly augmented with manganese. Extremely rare maker's mark and desirable form. Missing handle. Wear to rim. In-the-firing residue to underside. H 3".
