Rare Redware Dish with Two-Color-Slip Foliate Decoration, Mid-Atlantic origin, late 18th or early 19th century, shallow dish with coggled edge, decorated in manganese and yellow slip with scalloped banding to the border and an unusual slip-trailed tree design to the interior. Interior covered in a clear lead glaze. Glaze loss to interior. Minor rim nicks. A smooth 3/4" worn spot to bottom of rim. Diam. 10 1/2".
