Rare and Fine Glazed Redware Jar with Elaborate Yellow-Slip Tulip Decoration, PA origin, late 18th or early 19th century, ovoid jar with footed base and flared rim, decorated in yellow slip on the front and reverse with a slip-trailed design of a tulip accented with spots and wavy lines. Provenance: Surfaced in Western Pennsylvania. Very nice condition with some light wear to surface and rim. H 8 1/2".
