Shenandoah Valley Glazed Redware Vase, Stamped "WINCHESTER VA," attributed to Theodore "Thedy" Fleet, Round Hill Pottery, Frederick County, VA, circa 1928, ovoid form with flared collar, decorated with splashed manganese and covered in a dark-green, lead-and-copper glaze. Underside impressed with scarce "WINCHESTER VA" maker's mark, used earlier than the Round Hill Pottery's well-known apple stamp. A 3/4" worn spot to rim and other minor rim wear. H 7 3/4".
