Large-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Inkwell, attributed to Nathan Clark, Sr., Athens, NY, second quarter 19th century, circular form with coved sides and coggled circle decoration, the top and midsection decorated with brushed cobalt leaves and swags. Thin crack on underside, continuing up side of inkwell. Minor nick to top edge. D 5 1/2" ; H 2 5/8".
