Fine One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Pruntytown, WV, circa 1870, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a brushed flower with unusual striped leaves. Freehand straight and wavy stripe decoration above and below. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
