Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid form with tall, flaring collar, decorated in Albany slip on the body with a sweeping fuchsia vine design above a freehand stripe. Collar decorated with freehand drapes above stylized flourishes and a series of dashes. Handle decorated with dashes on each side and highlights to the terminals. Excellent condition with some light wear to spout. Excellent, as-made condition with only very minor flaws. H 6 7/8".
