Tanware Flowerpot, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid form with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and attached saucer base, the sides fashioned with applied clay loops and free-swinging ring handles. Decorated on the front in Albany slip with freehand vining and stripes. Additional wavy stripe decoration to saucer and Albany slip highlights to rings and handles. One ring/handle restored. Restored rim chips. An in-the-firing surface line to shoulder area. H 8 3/8" ; Diam. (across top) 6 7/8".
