Rare Rustic Earthenware Mug, Marked "HAUSER BRENNER & FATH / COOPERAGE / CINCINNATI. O," American, circa 1890, large-sized, wheel-thrown mug with applied sawed limbs to body and incised bark surface, the exterior coated in brown glaze, the interior and tips of sawed limbs decorated in yellow. Embossed with advertising for Hauser, Brenner, & Fath Cooperage Works, a business which opened in 1888, located at McLean Ave. and Bank St in Cincinnati, Ohio. Excellent condition. H 6 3/8".
