Stoneware Harvest Jug with Applied Decoration, Ohio origin, circa 1880, wheel-thrown, domed form with applied wide and narrow pouring spouts and molded rope-twist handle, decorated around the body with molded and applied foliate motifs. Surface covered in a chocolate-brown Albany slip glaze. Excellent condition with a small chip to interior of rim of narrow spout. H 9 1/2".
