Two Stoneware Coffee Pots, The Bodine Pottery Co., Zanesville, OH, late 19th century, both of cylindrical form with flared bases and Albany-slip-glazed interiors, each fitted with its original tin spout, handle, and lid, along with a wire bail handle. Included with this lot are two paper advertisements for this type of coffeepot. One advertises "THE BODINE / Patent Fire-Clay Crucible / COFFEE POT." and includes a poem. The other is addressed to "To the Lady of the House" and advertises "The Crucible Fire-Clay Coffee Pot / MANUFACTURED AND SOLD BY / THE BODINE POTTERY CO., / ZANESVILLE, OHIO." Both coffeepots in excellent condition. One with a tiny rim nick. Flaws to paper advertisements. H (of taller coffeepot, excluding lid) 7 1/2". Dimensions (of larger Bodine Coffee Pot advertisement) 6 1/4" x 5 3/4".
