Two-Gallon Glazed Stoneware Jug, Southern origin, probably Alabama, late 19th century, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a dramatic glaze featuring a splashed combination of light-green and chocolate-brown colors. Incised "2" to shoulder. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a raised glaze drip to left side of jug.
