One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with semi-rounded rim and tooling to body and shoulder, decorated with a two-stemmed clover plant on the front. Collar and spout decorated with brushed clovers. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
