One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base and semi-rounded rim, decorated on the front with a diagonal vine bearing three bell flowers. Cobalt swags to each side of body and collar. Additional swag decoration flanking the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Two glazed-over, in-the-firing chips to left side of rim. A glazed-over base chip. A flake to interior of rim on reverse.
