Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "WEST TROY. NY / POTTERY," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a bird perched on a stylized leaf. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. In-the-firing warping. Otherwise excellent condition.
