Rare Stamp-Decorated Redware Doorstop, PA origin, 19th century, rectangular slab form, profusely-decorated with various impressed designs including large and small hex signs, crosshatched circles, raised circles within rounded squares, circles within circles, and clustered circles. Surface decorated with manganese highlights and covered in a lead glaze over a colorful orange, light-green, and yellowish ground. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from a long-term New England collection. Very nice condition with some edge chipping. L 7" ; W 4" ; H 1 3/4".
