Molded Stoneware Pitcher with Floral Pattern, Stamped "AMERICAN POTTERY Co. / JERSEY CITY, N.J.", circa 1845, hexagonal pitcher with upswept spout and angled handle with floral pattern, the surface profusely-embellished with an elaborate flowering vine design. Exterior surface covered in an Albany slip glaze. Interior covered in a whitish Bristol slip glaze. Underside impressed with American Pottery Co. maker's mark. A 2 3/4" hairline from rim. Spider lines to interior base, not visible on exterior. H 8 3/8".
