One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Bowl with Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA", circa 1865, low-sided, semi-ovoid form with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a brushed design of a tulip bud emanating from a leafy stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Restoration to underside and exterior edge of rim. Some areas of light surface wear.
