MILES", Lewis Miles, Stony Bluff Manufactory, Horse Creek Valley, Edgefield District, SC, mid 19th century, ovoid jug with streaky green alkaline glaze, impressed "L. MILES" at shoulder for Lewis Miles, owner of the Stoney Bluff Manufactory. Significant restoration to body and spout. Flakes to underside. Handle original.
