Fine Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug with Incised Markings, attributed to Landrum Brick and Pottery, Columbia, SC origin, mid 19th century, cylindrical jug with squared spout and thin strap handle, decorated with a glossy, dark-olive glaze with mottling and iron flecks throughout. Shoulder incised with two large slash marks and two punctates. Very nice condition with two spout chips.
