Scarce Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "ENEIX & FRANKENBERRY / NEW / GENEVA. PA", circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with stenciled floral and geometric motifs surrounding Eneix & Frankenberry maker's stenciling. A large freehand "3" decorates the midsection. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A small chip to reverse end of left handle. A T-shaped hairline on underside, not visible on interior. A chip to interior of rim.
