Rare Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Butter Crock, Stenciled "L.B. Dilliner. / NEW GENEVA.", PA origin, circa 1875, small-sized cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim, featuring Leander B. Dilliner maker's stenciling, flanked by stylized stars, along with additional foliate and scrolled stenciling above and below. Interior of crock with significant exfoliation and wear, which is painted black. Crock in otherwise excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 5 1/8" ; Diameter 6 1/4".
