Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM E. WARNER / WEST TROY", NY State origin, circa 1850, squat-shaped, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with an artistic slip-trailed floral design featuring scrolled petals and leaves, underscored by a looping line. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A 3" crack from rim on side of jar. A 5" diagonal Y-shaped crack from rim on front. A 3 1/4" crack from rim on left side of front. A rim chip on reverse. Wear to inner rim for lid.
