Three Cobalt-Stripe-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jars, Western PA origin, circa 1875, all with inner "wax sealer" rim, the smallest with three stripes, the middle-sized example with five stripes, and the tallest with four stripes. Smallest with two small chips to interior of rim and two small chips to interior wax sealer rim. Middle-sized example with a 1 5/8" loss to inner wax sealer rim along with two small chips to same rim. Tallest in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a small, in-the-firing ping to side of jar near base, which is partially glazed over. H (of each) 6 7/8", 9 3/8", and 10 1/2".
