Six-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J. HAMILTON / BEAVER", PA origin, circa 1850, ovoid jar with tooled accents to body and shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and thick lug handles, decorated across the front with a sweeping fuchsia vine design. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Exfoliation to shoulder area. Top-to-bottom crack from rim, extending onto underside. Rim secured with a wire. A small base chip.
