Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, a half-gallon jar with cobalt leaf decoration, paired with a two-gallon cylindrical crock with swag decoration. Half-gallon jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition with some brownish Albany slip residue to rim. Two-gallon crock with several rim chips and a long faint Y-shaped line on underside, not visible on interior.
