One-Gallon Wheeling, WV Stoneware Advertising Crock with Cobalt Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "H.F. BEHRENS / WHEELING, / W. VA.", surrounded by stenciled foliate devices. Essentially as-made condition with a 7/8" glazed-over ping on reverse.
