Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jugs, Harrisburg, PA origin, circa 1865-1880, a one-gallon jug with stenciled motif, stamped "F.H. COWDEN / HARRISBURG"; a two-gallon jug with brushed spitting tulip motif, stamped "F.H. COWDEN / HARRISBURG"; and a one-gallon jug with spitting tulip motif, stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA". One-gallon F.H. Cowden jug with two hairlines to base of handle, a burn to front, and some fry to cobalt at handle terminals. Two-gallon jug with fry to cobalt, a burn to front and right side, some staining to surface, and a small in-the-firing surface chip to right side. Cowden & Wilcox jug with a sealed crack to side and a glazed-over base chip, the spout and handle broken and reglued.
