Four-Gallon Lidded Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WEST TROY, / N.Y. / POTTERY.", circa 1875, ovoid churn with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a stylized slip-trailed floral design. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Includes Albany-slip-glazed lid. Churn with a 2 1/4" restored crack above handle. Wear to top of lid. Small chips to edge area of lid. Some staining, primarily on reverse. A long restored horizontal crack at base. Two small, adjacent base chips on reverse.
