Two Glazed Redware Jars, PA origin, second half 19th century, both of ovoid form with footed base, tooled shoulder, and flared rim, one with spattered manganese and clear lead glaze over a mottled greenish ground, the other with spattered manganese and clear lead glaze over a brownish ground. Greenish jar with a thin 2" crack from rim, minor rim wear, and some dryness to glaze at base area. Other jar in excellent condition with two minor rim nicks. H (of greenish jar) 5 5/8".
