Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "R.T. WILLIAMS. / NEW GENEVA. / PA", circa 1880, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, featuring arched foliate stenciling below R.T. Williams maker's mark, along with two small stenciled flourishes flanking the abbreviation "PA". Freehand stripes to rim and base. Base with freehand "2" flanked by flourishes. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some very minor staining and minor wear to stenciling.
