Two One-Gallon John Jamison, Philadelphia Stoneware Advertising Crocks, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, circa 1885, each of similar tapered form featuring the slip-trailed advertising, "John Jamison, / 68 Water St. / Phila.". One with cracks and small rim chips. The other with some flakes to reverse, small rim chips, a 3 1/2" diagonal hairline from rim on reverse, a shallow flake to one handle, some staining, and a short hairline on underside, continuing a short distance onto base of crock.
