Salt-Glazed Stoneware Keg Cooler, Ohio origin, circa 1840-1860, ovoid keg with tooled banding and squared bunghole, the surface dipped in a slip coating and covered in a clear salt glaze. Vent hole in top. A large Y-shaped line to base area. An in-the-firing surface fissure above bunghole. Chips to bunghole.
