Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, vasiform pitcher with flared base and collar, decorated with a double-stemmed clover plant motif. Collar decorated on each side with a brushed floral motif. Spout flanked by cobalt dashes. Restored spout. Thin cracks on underside, continuing onto base. A minor base chip on reverse. H 8 1/2".
