Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J. WEAVER", Beaver, PA origin, circa 1865, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a brushed vine bearing swags and open-centered fuchsias. Three rim chips, the largest measuring 1 1/4". A thin inverted 8" Y-shaped line to right of decoration, not visible on interior. Surface wear.
