Glazed Redware Turk's Head Mold, Stamped "JOHN W. BELL / Waynesboro, Pa.", circa 1880, swirl-patterned food mold with heavy manganese sponging over an orange ground, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Impressed with John W. Bell maker's mark at shoulder. Strong color and brilliant luster to glaze. Mold survives in difficult-to-find, excellent condition with some base wear. H 5".
