One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1850, highly-ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated around the midsection with a stem bearing fan-shaped flowers and graduated leaves. Swag decoration to collar and flanking the spout. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Professional restoration to a rim chip with short line descending from it. One professionally-restored base chip. A professionally-restored crack in base of handle, with some touch-up to cobalt at base of handle. A large, raised 2" salt glob to side of pitcher near base.
