Two Pieces of Slip-Decorated Redware, American, second quarter 19th century, a loaf dish with coggled edge and wavy yellow slip decoration, possibly Norwalk, CT, paired with small plate with coggled edge and unusual spattered yellow slip decoration. Loaf dish with flakes to interior, wear to edge, and a tight 3" crack from edge. Plate with crudely-restored flakes to slip, wear to edge, and two cracks from rim, measuring 3 1/2" and 2 1/2". L (of loaf dish) 15" ; Diameter (of plate) 7 1/4".
