Two Pieces of Baltimore, MD Stoneware, circa 1840-1880, a one-gallon ovoid jar with cobalt swag-and-hanging-flower motif on front and reverse, paired with a one-and-a-half-gallon jar with cobalt clover motif on the front and reverse. Provenance: Collection of Lorren Lambert, Staunton, VA. Ovoid jar with 1 1/4" flake to one handle, a minor, in-the-firing, and two minor in-the-firing pings to one side. Cylindrical jar with a few rim chips.
