Double-Handled Stoneware Face Jug with Swirled Clay, Stamped "B.B. CRAIG / VALE, N.C.", early fourth quarter 20th century, ovoid jug with flared spout and open handles, composed of swirled clay with overlying alkaline glaze. Front decorated with an applied clay face including porcelain teeth and cobalt-highlighted eyes. Underside with Burlon Craig maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 12 3/4".
