Two Pieces of Central PA Stoneware, circa 1865-1890, a one-gallon ovoid jar with large cobalt tulip decoration, stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA", paired with a two-gallon ovoid jar with cobalt floral motif, stamped "A.L. HYSSONG / BLOOMSBURG, PA.". Cowden & Wilcox jar with hairlines, a few small rim chips, and staining. Hyssong jar with a shallow base chip, light water glass staining to exterior, and water glass staining to interior.
