Two Ovoid Stoneware Jugs, Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century, a two-gallon jug with heavily-tooled neck, stamped "GOODWIN & WEBSTER / HARTFORD", with cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals, CT origin; paired with a one-gallon jug with stylized floral decoration and cobalt highlights to handle terminals, New York State origin. One-gallon jug with a 1 5/8" in-the-firing base flake. Goodwin & Webster jug with 7 3/4" spider crack descending from spout, a small spout chip, a 1 3/8" base chip and minor base nick, and some typical in-the-firing flaws to surface.
